A Kinky Wind Blows

A Kinky Wind Blows is based on the icebreaker activity “A Cold Wind Blows“. While it bears a resemblance to musical chairs there are no winners or losers in this game. This activity is the perfect way to meet and get to know fellow kinksters; especially if this is your first time at the Wicked Faire! Everyone is welcome to come on down and have a good time as this event is carefully balanced so that everyone can participate no matter what your comfort level.

The Glimmerdark Masquerade Ball & MidWinter Revel

“O! the warmth! O! the hum! O! the colours in the dark!
O! the gauzy wings of golden honey-flies!
O! the music of their feet – of their dancing goblin feet!
O! the magic!”

Yes, the Faeries of Glimmerdark are throwing Wicked Faire’s VIP Ball and ALL are invited – Pirate, Steampunk, Geek, Fae, Goth, and all others. Dress in your formal best – for whoever and whatever you are – and come join us in a sparkling masquerade of dance and delight!  You do not need to be Fae; your VIP badge is your key to Fairyland!

The DJ music will be stellar, your hosts will enchant you, and you will want to dance all night!

Please DO wear your masques, and please DO have your best attire. Don’t be late – the Ball starts on time with a bang, and we want you there!

The one and only Mighty Mike Saga will be spinning ballroom – deancy classical, hot jazz, and a few swingin’ waltzes, all good for any style of dance (no training required; just move your body and join us!) – until midnight, then it’s a Dance Party for as long as people wantt to keep dancing.

DJs are unpredictable things, so we may have Bound poor Mr. Saga under a magical geas of servitude to play at our command.  I’d feel bad for him…but truth be told, he’s like me: he loves to bring the joy

Around 11pm, we’ll do a Promade, and both Celebrity Guests and the Fae Themselves will judge Best Suit, Best Dress, and Best Wild-Card Costume!

Wicked Saturday Morning Cartoon Extravaganza

Wicked Faire Reborn is giving you a reason to wake up early on a Saturday morning for the first time since childhood and for the same reason you climbed out of bed then: Saturday Morning Cartoons!

Join your hosts, Rob and Paul, as we take a 4 hour nostalgia-filled trip through the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s filled with all of your favorite shows, a few bad toy commercials, and a They Might Be Giants song or two for you Tiny Toon Adventures fans.

The cartoon extravaganza kicks off at 9 A.M. Saturday morning and will conclude with a best and craziest looking pajamas competition at 12:30 P.M. before our finale!

The River of Tea

“We had a kettle: we let it leak:
Our not repairing it made it worse.
We haven’t had any tea for a week…
The bottom is out of the Universe!”

~ Rudyard Kipling

"Natural Theology"

The River of Tea is a weekend-long respite from all the cares of the world.  It’s nothing complicated; come into the Tea Room and enjoy some simple tea in the company of friends old, new, and about-to-be-met.  Let us offer you the refreshment and joys of that most wondrous of beverages, tea!

The Tea Room is open several hours a day throughout the event.  Your wristband gets you unlimited admission to the Tea Room.  Bring your own tea, or drink ours – or both!

“Thank God for tea! What would the world do without tea? how did it exist? I am glad I was not born before tea. I can drink any quantity when I have not tasted wine; otherwise I am haunted by blue-devils by day, and dragons by night.” ~ Sydney Smith
