You may know of Wicked Faire.  You may not.  Either way, let me tell you what we’re doing:

Imagine a huge indoor festival devoted, unlike almost any other event in the world, not to one or two interests, but rather to a giant blend of  almost every kind of unusual interest.  An event which believes, not simply in enjoying those things, but in madly, ceaselessly offering up as much entertainment, as many shows, as many pleasures and good times, and as much fun as you could conceivably hurl together during the space of a single weekend.

And then…

Imagine that event focusing its considerable resources towards creating a massive, three-day-long Halloween party, on top of the unbelievable amount of programming and recreation already lined up.  Imagine that the team of event builders behind it (creators of such events as The Alternative Living Expo, The Steampunk World’s Fair, Dorian’s Parlor, The Geeky Kink Event, The Midsummer Magick Faire, and others) loved Halloween and wanted to apply everything they’d learned to making an incredible Halloween festival.  Imagine that an event already known for its incredibly friendly attendees went out of its way to encourage Halloween good cheer and revelry…

Most of all, imagine an event that dared to throw a Cyclopean Halloween party IN FEBRUARY.  …Which means that all the people who love Halloween have an amazing opportunity.  Because unlike October, when we have a million Halloween things to do, this is undoubtedly the largest Halloween party in February in this part of the world.   Those of us who love Halloween in all its myriad forms can all gather together in the same place, at the same time, for one single, unforgettable weekend.

That is the dream behind this event – no, even better – that is the reality behind this event.
