 -Oscar Wilde

“Pleasure is the object, duty and the goal of all rational creatures.”

Danny Blu

Danny Blu was born in a town that was far too small… He had a terrible habit of misbehaving. He would be punished for misbehaving. But he never found it to be punishment. Danny Blu thought this was sexy.

Drawing inspiration from Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, and Queen, Danny Blu offers dark, danceable music with an irresistible beat. He has headlined various venues throughout NYC – including the 2011 Pride Rally – and will be making his Webster Hall debut at the upcoming Anachronism! Danny Blu wants to be your plaything – find him on FacebookTwitter, and Reverbnation. For samples of his music check out his music page onFacebook.

Eli August

”Eli August is comparable to a master chef.  Adding a plethora of unnecessary ingredients is a refuge for the mediocre.   Eli adheres to this same principle in his music, and the result is excellent.” -Midnight Calling

“There is a melancholic earnestness to his songs as August pours his soul through the strings of guitar, ukulele or mandolin. He is more akin to a folk singer sharing ballads of shadows and ghosts than a steampunk rock star blasting you with tales of airships and clockwork robots.” -Street Vibes

Compounding a ruinous mix of crass humor, video games and geek culture with an unapologetic EBM affinity, The Gothsicles’ 2011 release “Industrialites & Magic” (WTII Records) reached the #1 spot on Amazon.com for “Most Downloaded” in the “Goth & Industrial” category.

Psyche Corporation

Psyche Corporation combines art, fashion, dance, and science within the framework of an imagined technomythological world. The name itself describes a futuristic dream manufacture group which allows people to jack their nerve endings directly into the internet and download dreams. As a performance group, Psyche Corporation has at various times incorporated robot exhibitions, steel origami cranes, contortion, corsets, flashlights, and old radios. The music spans genres; a recent song has mixed tribal singing with classical piano while embedding the DNA of deadly polio virus into its percussion.

This Way to the Egress

This Way to the Egress is an Ole Tymey – Gypsypunk- Cabaret. With a valiant effort to “bring the show back to the people” they are a revolving door of musical mayhem, sideshow, burlesque, and comedy leaving a modern twist on the good old days of Vaudeville. Like a renegade theater of sorts, they weave visual antics with eclectic sounds creating an experience unlike any other in their genre.

Trisanguinus Carnelevarii

Strange souls abound at Wicked Faire… as well as a few without souls. (Or reflections, for that matter.) Keep an eye out for Trisanguinus Carnelevarii - our WF7′s resident vampire coterie. Their performance will surely creep up on you when you least expect it… Rumor has it there might be a few werewolves about – and perhaps a few other “creatures of the night.” More details to come!

….VOLTAIRE!

Voltaire - the one, the only (not counting that dead fellow)

The Crowne Prince of dark music, Voltaire, will once again grace our stage and, most likely, the hotel bar.   If you’re not familiar with his work, do check it out.  He’s a fairly amazing fellow.
